Cabinet approves the silicon wafer, fab and ATMP mega project, now enhanced to ₹38,115 crore.

Maharashtra's cabinet sub-committee, chaired by the Chief Minister, cleared Vellore Information Technology Park's mega project to manufacture silicon wafers, fabs and ATMPs in Ratnagiri. Approved at ₹19,550 crore in October 2024, the project has since been enhanced to ₹38,115 crore.
